Information for the Graduates

Lithan Academy Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025 will be held on 02 December 2025 at the Lifelong Learning SG (Lecture Theatre)

All communication about this event will be sent to the graduands via whatsapp and/or their registered email account. Graduands are advised to keep a look-out on their email to stay updated for any announcements related to the event. For more information, you may also refer to the FAQs.

Only graduands who have registered their interest to participate through this webpage and received a seat confirmation from us will be permitted.

Each attending graduate can invite 1 guest to accompany them for this event.

Complete the registration form to express your interest in attending the Graduation Ceremony 2025 by 07 November 2025. Confirmed participants will receive further event instructions & announcements days before & after the event.

Seats are limited - secure your place before the deadline. Late registrations may not be accommodated due to venue and logistical constraints.

If you have changed your mind about attending, please let us know no later than 21 November 2025 if you are unable to attend or if there are any changes to your guest’s attendance.

This helps us manage seating and catering efficiently for all participants.

Graduation Fee & Gown Rental

There is no graduation fee involved -participation in the ceremony is complimentary for all eligible graduates.

You will only be required to rent a graduation gown to symbolize your academic achievement and mark your official transition from learner to graduate.

Graduation Rehearsal

An on-the-day rehearsal will be held at 12:00 PM. Graduands are expected to arrive at the holding area in the Event Hall 2-2, Lifelong Learning SG by 12:00 PM sharp to participate in the walkthrough and preparation.

In addition, a video simulation guide will be shared at a later date to help you understand the flow of the ceremony and prepare in advance.

On-the-Day

The ceremony is a solemn and dignified occasion to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduands and the support of their families and friends.

As a form of respect to the Guest of Honor, the Faculty, the Academic Procession, all graduands and guests present, graduands & their guests are reminded to adhere to the Graduation Ceremony Code of Conduct.

Collection of Degree Certificate and Transcript

Graduands will be able to collect their hardcopy degree certificates and official transcripts after receiving their ceremonial scroll on stage (if they have registered to attend).

Collection of the official documents on behalf of other graduates who do not attend graduation is strictly prohibited.

For graduates who are not attending graduation, the official documents will be available for collection at Lithan Academy main office. Graduates will be notified via their registered email once the documents are ready for collection.

Is there a fee to join the graduation ceremony?

No, there is no graduation fee. However, graduands are only required to rent the official gown for $60, with a $100 refundable deposit upon return.

How can I rent my gown?

Can I bring more than one guest?

No. Each graduand may bring only one guest due to venue limitations.

Will the event be live-streamed?

Please note that the ceremony will be recorded and live-streamed. Photos and videos captured may be used for institutional and promotional purposes.

By registering, you consent to being included in the event’s media coverage.

What should I wear?

This is a formal academic event. Graduands are expected to wear their academic gown and appropriate formal attire in accordance to the Graduation Ceremony Code of Conduct.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

All graduands must arrive by 12:00 PM for the on-the-day rehearsal. This ensures a smooth flow during the ceremony.

A video simulation guide will be shared prior to the event to help you prepare ahead.

Will there be photos or videos of the event?

Yes. The event will have official photography and videography, and a photobooth will be available for personal keepsakes.

What if I need to cancel or change my attendance?

Please notify us by 21 November 2025 if you or your guest can no longer attend. This allows us to reallocate seats and manage catering responsibly.
